Google had recently launched two of its flagship smartphones; the Google Pixel 7 and the Google Pixel 7 Pro. Only the Pixel 7a launch is pending under the latest 7-series by Google. Now, Amazon has reportedly revealed that Google is working on the forthcoming smartphone and it might launch anytime soon. The e-commerce platform is offering its users an option to subscribe to the Pixel 7a announcement.
Google Pixel 7a launch is near; can expect it in the coming months
Amazon is reportedly offering some of its users an option to subscribe to the Google Pixel 7a Family announcement. One thing to note that is it mentions “Family” which means there could be more than one device. The name of the other device, if any, has not been confirmed yet. It could be a Google Pixel 7a and Pixel 7a XL or an altogether new device. We’re really unsure about that. An official announcement from the brand will throw more light on the devices.
As of now, the Google Pixel 7a has been confirmed to have the codename “Felix” and it will have a smaller display as compared to the Pixel 7 smartphone. The smartphone could feature a 6.1-inches display with a FullHD+ pixel resolution. Apart from this, we do not have much information regarding the upcoming device.

As a point of comparison, the Google Pixel 6a has a 6.1-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with punch holes. The 60Hz panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. A 12.2MP main lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens make up the dual back camera system. 4K videos can be captured at 60 frames per second with the back camera. It features an 8MP selfie camera. We can expect upgraded specs on the Pixel 7a.
