Philips launches 40B1U6903CH monitor: 40-inch curved screen with Thunderbolt 4 interface

Philips launched the new 40B1U6903CH 40-inch curved monitor, the new product will be available at the end of the month in the UK.

The new monitor is equipped with a 40-inch IPS curved screen that provides 178° viewing angle and a resolution of 5120×2160; it has 134% sRGB, 103% NTSC and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, supports 1000:1 contrast ratio and 1ms response time.

The new 40B1U6903CH monitor has a screen that supports anti-flicker technology and low blue light mode, supports SmartContrast technology for improved clarity, and the monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.

In terms of connectivity, the bottom of the monitor is equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C interface, which can be connected to a laptop via a C to C specification cable for a larger screen display. USB-C supports 100W PD fast charging, which can also provide fast charging for the laptop while expanding the display screen to achieve a one-line even usage scenario.

The bottom of the monitor is also equipped with DP 1.4 interface, HDMI 2.0 interface, USB-A interface and 3.5mm headphone jack, built-in speakers, and is compatible with VESA specification wall mounting.

The new 40B1U6903CH monitor supports MultiView, which allows multiple input sources to be connected simultaneously, a second input source can be viewed in a small window in picture-in-picture mode, and the KVM switch function allows one set of keypads to control two computers.

Philips’ new 40B1U6903CH 40-inch curved monitor is priced at £1,499.99 (currently about RMB 13,515), so those interested can keep an eye on it.
