Panasonic unveils several solutions to environmental problems

0

At CES 2023, the Panasonic Group, under the concept of “Panasonic GREEN IMPACT City,” will showcase various technologies and initiatives to address environmental issues through online and offline platforms.

The exhibition is divided into 4 areas, namely

Park (Square)

The Plaza is the main entrance to Panasonic GREEN IMPACT City, where a concept tree consisting of calcium-titanium solar cells, a space that generates renewable energy, is set up to attract the attention of visitors. This area highlights the Panasonic Group’s environmental vision and specific action plans until 2024.

Town (neighborhood)

This area showcases Panasonic’s world’s first demonstration facility for a 100% renewable energy plant using hydrogen energy, as well as its initiatives to reduce CO2 in stores and achieve a zero-carbon neighborhood. These include the RE100 solution, pure hydrogen fuel cells, and cold chain technology that reduces the environmental load.

Mobility (Mobile Mobility)

Panasonic showcased equipment and technologies to promote vehicle electrification, such as the EV in-car cylindrical battery 1865, 2170, and 4680, as well as solutions to ensure the safety and comfort of drivers and passengers, such as Panasonic’s exclusive in-car Nanoy X and in-car audio system.

Home

Panasonic is showcasing solutions for a better life for people, society and the planet by providing health benefits to the body and mind.

In the area of home appliances, products that encompass three areas: inner health, outer health, and spatial health were on display.

Intrinsic health specifically refers to the easy implementation of healthy eating by connecting products to sensors through an app, and also includes contributions to reducing food loss in a circular manner with ingredient delivery, menu recommendations and waste disposal.

External health is a supportive or integrated health management app that provides anti-aging and relaxation based on previous health care through data analysis.

The space solution is based on sensors and algorithms.

Panasonic also exhibited a series of new products at the show, including the latest models of the LUMIX S series, Technics vinyl turntables, new OLED TVs, and more.
