OPPO Reno9 series of the new conference was held this afternoon. The new machine’s image configuration has now been officially announced, confirming that it is equipped with a dual-core portrait computing engine.

The company has also upgraded its rear optical stabilization and dual-core portrait computing engine.

In terms of algorithm, OPPO Reno9 series is upgraded to a new “dual-core portrait computing engine”, the upgraded algorithm puts the most critical light and shadow, color and detail of a photo into the RAW domain.

OPPO says the Reno9 series’ dual-core portrait computing engine, which performs color calculations in the RAW domain, boosts accuracy from 10bit to 17bit, a 128-fold improvement. “Photos taken with the Dual Core Portrait Computing Engine have more vivid and transparent colors, and the skin tone of the human face remains fair.” At the same time, the dual-core portrait computing engine can do 9 frames of synthetic noise reduction. In each frame to pick out the optimal details, composite a best photo.

The OPPO Reno9 series is also equipped with OPPO’s own imaging NPU chip, MariSilicon X. Based on the cognitive power of this chip, the OPPO Reno9 series brings a new upgrade to the portrait mode – natural portrait bokeh. Natural Portrait Bokeh uses the light and shadow information from the dual-core portrait computing engine to calculate the brightness of various light sources in the image to create a realistic, SLR-grade light spot effect with brightness levels.
