According to tipper Digital Chat Station, OPPO is working on a new phone with model number PHU110. The most interesting thing about the device is that it is a high-end phone (not a flagship device) featuring a periscope zoom lens. Hence, it looks like he could be talking about the rumored Reno 10 Pro+, which is speculated to arrive with a periscope camera.

As many as two tipsters claimed last month that the Reno 10 Pro+ will have a periscope zoom camera, which will support 2x optical zoom. It remains to be seen whether the OPPO PHU110 arrives in the Chinese market with the Reno 10 Pro+ moniker.

New information shared by tipster DCS states that the OPPO PHU110 has a curved-edge screen with a punch-hole at the top-centre position, which indicates that it has an OLED panel. It will support a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The back panel of the phone will have a 50MP (1/1.56” Sony IMX890) primary camera, an 8MP (Sony IMX355) ultra-wide lens, and an unspecified periscope camera. The tipster did not mention the name of the chipset but claimed that it has a high-end chipset manufactured with the TSMC 4N process. Lastly, it packs a dual-cell 4,700mAh battery.

The above-mentioned specifications of the OPPO PHU110 are quite similar to the Reno 9 Pro+. Hence, it appears that the PHU110 may end up as its successor, the Reno 10 Pro+. Since there is no concrete evidence to prove it, it is recommended to digest the report with a pinch of salt.
