OnePlus has already launched the OnePlus 11 Pro smartphone in the market. Unlike every year, the vanilla model was not released at the same event. Quite a few times have passed since the launch of the OnePlus 11 Pro and we did not get to see any OnePlus 11 being getting launched officially. Well, now we are getting some leaks and rumours which claim that the brand will soon launch the OnePlus 11 smartphone in the market.
OnePlus 11 to launch soon; could offer Snapdragon 8 Gen2
Usually, the OnePlus number series sits below the “Pro” models in terms of specifications and pricing. However, this time, it could be something totally different. The OnePlus 11 is said to offer top-notch specifications which were previously exclusive to the “Pro” model. Known tipster Max Jambor on Twitter has said that the forthcoming OnePlus Pro model will launch as the OnePlus 11 in the market.
In other words, for at least the first part of next year, the base 11 model will probably serve as the brand’s legitimate flagship model. Therefore, one of the models will be missing, same as last year, but this year it’s the OnePlus 11 Pro model. At this moment, the introduction of the next high-end smartphone is expected to coincide with that of the 10 Pro model in 2022. So, a debut in January 2023 can be anticipated.

OnePlus 11 may also be the first flagship device for 2023 to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, in addition to this. After this, the 11 Pro could debut with the upgraded Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset in the second half. Remember that this is still only a rumour, so take it with a grain of salt for the time being and check back for additional information.
