Following the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2, the company has a second device code-named OnePlus Meili in the works. This device is to be the successor to the Nord 2 line-up. This device is currently in work and will feature a MediaTek Dimensity processor. The leaked specs of the OnePlus Meili present it as a mid-range flagship device.
The MediaTek Dimensity processor said to power this device is the Dimensity 8000. This is a 5G chipset, and you can be sure that it’ll come loaded with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 fast storage to support the processor. It’ll also use a 6.7 inch AMOLED display, this display can make it possible for the OnePlus Meili to feature an under-display fingerprint scanner. Leaked information has it that the screen on this device will feature a 120Hz refresh rate.
According to the leak, the Meili device will have a triple camera setup. The battery capacity on this device is 4500mAh, and it charges at 150W fast charging. This device will launch with Android 12 out of the box, as will the Nord CE 2 Lite expected to launch soon.
Before this device launches, leaks also point out that the company will release a OnePlus Nord 2T. This device will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. Internal storage with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 will be available on this device. The battery capacity on this device is likely to be a 4500mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
The specs and launch date of these devices by the company are not yet out. There might be some discrepancies in the leaked information, but we will make do with what we have for now until more information comes out.
