In addition to new phones, One Plus has also released its first (mechanical) keyboard and its latest TV product, both of which will be available in India later this year.

The mechanical keyboard, called the Featuring Keyboard 81 Pro, is the first device under the Featuring brand, a new “co-creation platform” that allows OnePlus to create more products in different categories with users and third-party partners (brands). The first result of the program is this collaboration. The first result of the program is this customizable mechanical keyboard, created in collaboration with Keychron.

The OnePlus Featuring Keyboard 81 Pro is very similar to the Keychron Q1 Pro mechanical keyboard. It has 81 keys, a built-in RGB, and a CNC-machined aluminum case.

The keyboard has built-in Bluetooth 5.1 and can also be connected via a USB-C port. The built-in 4000mAh battery will last up to 100 hours at the lowest RGB brightness.

The keyboard has two types of key shafts – the more tactile “Winter Bonfire” and the linear “Summer Breeze”. The “Winter Bonfire” keycaps are made of PBT plastic, while the “Summer Breeze” keycaps are made of what OnePlus calls “marble rubber”.

Different key shafts

The keyboard has a laptop-style layout (lacking a numeric keypad) and supports hot-swapping — that is, users can replace the key shafts themselves.

Unique to the OnePlus Featuring Keyboard 81 Pro are the three-position switches on the back, taken from the OnePlus smartphone, and a rotary knob that can be customized to trigger various functions.

The OnePlus Featuring Keyboard 81 Pro will go on sale in April. OnePlus hasn’t revealed the price yet, as a comparison, the Keychron Q1 Pro is priced at $199 (currently about RMB 1,351).

Next up is the OnePlus TV 65Q2 Pro, which is the successor to the 2019 OnePlus Q1 Pro. As its name suggests, the OnePlus TV 65Q2 Pro raises the diagonal size from 55 inches to 65 inches. Featuring a 4K QLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR and 97% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

The TV has a built-in 70-watt Soundbar speaker that emulates 2.1-channel audio and a 30-watt subwoofer. The speakers are Dolby Atmos-certified and tuned by Danish audio company Dynaudio.

The OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro runs Google TV based on Android 11 and features the OxygenPlay 2.0 interface, allowing the TV to be controlled using a OnePlus smartphone via OnePlus Connect 2.0.

The OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro will be available on March 10 for INR 99,999 (currently about RMB 8,210).
