Nearly two months after Google released Android 13, OnePlus is now ready to send its own substantial Android update to the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T, and 7T Pro. However, we’re not referring to Android 13, but rather Android 12, which has been around for more than a year. Now, the devices have finally grabbed the Android 12 update.

OnePlus 7, 7T, 7 Pro and 7T Pro received Android 12 based OxygenOS 12 update

The OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro were subjected to beta testing of Android 12 by the OnePlus a few weeks ago, and those who took part in the process are now beginning to receive the final update. Accordingly, those who weren’t part of the beta test should also get the Android 12 update in the upcoming days and weeks.

The new software, OxygenOS 12.1, represents a complete visual overhaul for these models.

For the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro, the build is denoted H.28, and for the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro, it is designated F.16. The update includes the August 2022 security patch level, which is already two months old.
