NVIDIA’s official website has now announced the price of the RTX 6000 workstation graphics card at $6,800 (currently about RMB 46,104).

The RTX 6000 is a workstation graphics card with the same architecture as the GeForce RTX 40 graphics card, based on the AD102 GPU, with 18176 CUDA cores, 11% more than the RTX 4090, 48GB of memory, twice as much as the RTX 4090, and 300W of power consumption. The RTX 6000 has a Boost frequency of 2.5 GHz, the same as the RTX 4090, and a GDDR6 memory speed of 20 Gbps.

In September 2022, Nvidia released the RTX 6000 workstation GPU based on the new Ada Lovelace architecture with the following technical features.

  • 3rd generation RT Core: 2x the throughput of the previous generation, capable of running ray tracing technology with shading or denoising at the same time.
  • Fourth generation Tensor Core: Nearly 2x faster AI training performance than the previous generation, with extended support for FP8 data formats.
  • CUDA core: up to 2x the single-precision floating-point throughput of the previous generation.
  • GPU memory: 48GB of GDDR6 memory to handle large-scale 3D models, image rendering, simulations and AI datasets.
  • Virtualization: NVIDIA virtual GPU (vGPU) software for multiple instances of high-performance virtual workstations will be supported, enabling remote users to share resources and drive high-end design, AI and compute workloads.
  • XR (Extended Reality): Video encoding performance is nearly 3x better than the previous generation and multiple XR sessions can be synchronized using NVIDIA CloudXR streaming.
