NVIDIA announced the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 two new flagship notebook GPUs.

NVIDIA said the Ada architecture makes new enthusiast laptops possible. Gamers can play surround-view games at 60FPS on three 4K displays, fully empowering professional-grade driving simulations. Creators can use NVIDIA Omniverse to create 3D designs with full physical properties, lighting and material simulation in 4K resolution. Hosts can use AV1 to broadcast games live on Discord at 4K 60FPS, and Ada’s new dual encoder cuts video export times in half.

Powered by GeForce RTX 4090 and 4080 notebook GPUs, the new generation of notebooks will run up to three times more efficiently than the previous generation of flagship notebooks, enabling users to play games with unprecedented performance and speed, and helping creators get their creative work done quickly, all in a slim, lightweight form factor, according to NVIDIA.

The RTX 40 Series flagship laptops are available for a suggested retail price starting at RMB 15,999 and will be available for purchase starting February 8.

NVIDIA confirmed that the card will deliver 38.9 TFLOPS of single-precision compute performance, almost on the same level as the desktop RTX 4070 Ti. The RTX 4080 GPU will use AD104, with 7,424 CUDA cores and 12GB of memory.
