NVIDIA has now released the RTX 4060 Ti 8G memory version of the graphics card, tonight at 9 o’clock officially opened for sale, priced at $ 3199. The card uses a PCIe 4.0 * 8 connection to the motherboard, but on some slightly older motherboards, it can only be connected through PCIe 3.0 * 8, the transfer rate will be reduced by half.

In this regard, the external media hardwareluxx conducted a test. The data shows that the Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti through the PCIe 3.0 * 8 connection, performance will indeed appear to be limited, but the impact is not significant.

As shown above, in the three games “Control”, “Cyberpunk 2077” and “F1 22”, the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card through the PCIe 4.0 * 8 connection frame rate will be slightly higher than the PCIe 3.0 * 8, but only a single-digit percentage impact, in the actual game should not be significantly perceived.

The RTX 4060 Ti graphics card parameters information as follows:

RTX 4060 Ti has a 4352 CUDA core with 8GB / 16GB 128bit GDDR6 memory, TGP power consumption 160W / 165W, using PCIe 4.0 * 8 connection.

In terms of performance, information released on NVIDIA’s website shows that the RTX 4060 Ti is 1.7 times more powerful than the RTX 3060 Ti when the RTX 40 series graphics cards’ unique frame generation technology is turned on. With frame generation technology off, the RTX 4060 Ti performs 1.15 times better than the RTX 3060 Ti.
