Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 and 4080 gaming laptops will be opening pre-orders on February 1

Nvidia released the RTX 40 series of laptop GPUs at CES earlier this month, including RTX 4050 to RTX 4090 models. Gaming laptop equipped with RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 high-end GPUs will be the first to go on the market, with pre-sales starting on February 1 and sales starting on February 8.

The RTX 4090 laptop GPU uses the AD103 GPU with 9728 CUDA cores and 16GB of video memory. The RTX 4080 GPU has 7424 CUDA cores and 12GB of video memory.

Nvidia says the Ada architecture enables new enthusiast laptops. Players can play surround view games at 60FPS on three 4K monitors, fully empowering professional-level driving simulation games. Creators can use NVIDIA Omniverse at 4K resolution for 3D designs with full physics, lighting, and material simulation. Streamers can use the AV1 to stream games live on Discord at 4K 60FPS, and Ada’s new dual encoders cut video export times in half.

According to Nvidia, the suggested retail price of the RTX 40 series flagship laptops starts at RMB 15,999.
