The Nothing Phone (2) smartphone will be released in July this year, and now @OnLeaks has once again exposed the appearance of this model, let’s take a look.

According to the news, the Nothing Phone (2) will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a 4700mAh battery, a 6.7-inch screen, and support for three years of Android major version updates and four years of security updates.

This model still continues the transparent back panel of the previous generation, equipped with a larger 6.7-inch display (Note: The original model is 6.55 inches) and is more ergonomic and more comfortable to hold.

The new machine features a rounded aluminum frame, while the glass panels on the front and back are also slightly curved, similar to a 2.5D design. This is in stark contrast to the Phone (1) (the original model had a straight front and rear screen and more squared-off corners).

This model still uses the Glyph wireless charging coil with a light strip, but it is divided into several small segments. This allows users to have finer control over the system, and it can also be used as a status indicator, notification light, and you can add some cool elements yourself.

This model continues to use the rear dual camera, compared to the previous generation, it seems that only an LED flash has been added.

The right side of this model uses the SIM card slot, while the left side is the volume rocker and power button, and the bottom includes a USB Type-C interface and a speaker grille. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack.

Nothing founder Carl Pei has previously revealed the Nothing Phone (2) chip and battery, as well as some details about the camera and other components, and now Nothing says the new phone will be locally manufactured in India.

According to the Indian Express, the Nothing Phone (2) will be manufactured by BYD Electronics in Tamil Nadu, India, where the Nothing Phone (1) was previously manufactured.

The Nothing Phone (2) will be the company’s most sustainable product yet, with “a carbon footprint of 53.45kg, more than 5kg less than the Nothing Phone (1)” and its components will be made from recycled materials and sustainable plastics, the report adds Made with, “Uses 3x as many recycled or bio-based components as Phone (1) and contains no plastic in retail packaging”, also includes “9 100% Recycled Tin Main Circuit Boards, 100% Recycled Copper Foil Main Circuit Boards, All 28 Each steel stamping is made from more than 90 percent recycled steel, the final assembly plant is powered by 100 percent renewable energy, and the fuselage features an aluminum frame.”
