Nothing CEO Carl Pei has revealed that the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 series chips, but no specific model has been indicated. It’s likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which is the core mobile platform used in mainstream flagship Android phones this year.

Carl Pei previously said that the Nothing Phone (2) will launch in the US and is expected to be available in the third quarter of this year, between July and September.

Unlike the mid-range Nothing Phone (1), the Nothing Phone (2) will be more high-end. In the international market, the new phone will face competition from flagship models such as the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, OnePlus 11, and Xiaomi 13 / Pro series.

The Nothing Phone (2) will come with 12GB+256GB of storage, a 120Hz OLED display and a 5000mAh battery. It’s not clear if it will also feature a transparent back design and retain Glyph LEDs.
