Nothing Phone (1) sales will start with the auction of 100 units

To drive publicity and hype, Carl Pei company’s partner StockX will auction 100 units of the Nothing Phone (1). This announcement came directly from the StockX website. Here is how the Phone (1) auction will run.

The available devices for the auction will be in serial order from 1 to 100. From the bidding, devices will sell off according to their serial number. Shipping and delivery of the auction models will take place within 35 business days.

Bidding will occur within three days starting on June 21 and running through to June 23. Participation is simple, just open a StockX account and once the DropX page is live make your bid. It is important to note that the auction of the first 100 devices from Nothing will not affect its launch or actual sale.

Nothing Phone (1)

Over the past few days, Nothing kept dropping images and videos to show off its first device’s transparent back panel. Not only does the device come with a transparent back, but it also has light stripes along its back. On-hand images show that this device will have a rather miniature size in comparison with most devices.

Its edges are flat, hence giving the device some grip and style. Asides from its images, there is still no official information on the specifications of the Nothing Phone (1). All that we know regarding this device are off leaks from various sources.

The Phone (1) will certainly use a Snapdragon processor, leaks also have it that this will be a mid-range flagship device. Putting these pieces together, we can assume that the Nothing Phone (1) will use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor

The company has also given confirmation that it is working on four new devices. At this moment, we can’t be certain of what to expect. But, among the four devices might be a new generation TWS and a successor to the Nothing Ear (1).
