Nothing Phone 1, a brand new cell phone handset in 2022, has gained far more attention than expected with its unique ID design. For example, the LED strip on the back, the equal width of the four sides on the front and the affordable price of less than 3,000 yuan (Nothing Phone 1 is priced at INR 32,999 in India, which is about RMB 2,800 yuan), all these features are considered a refreshing stream in the same price range. But just recently, the first batch of Nothing Phone 1 has been turning over frequently because of quality issues.
In today’s news, an overseas blogger has posted a photo of the Nothing Phone 1 on a social media platform, where the LED light bar on the back of the phone has fallen off by itself. As you can see in the picture below, there are several light bars embedded in the back of the Nothing Phone 1, and one of the light bars near the camera position has obviously fallen off, although the function is normal, but we can’t help but worry about the failure of the subsequent use.
This is not the first time that Nothing Phone 1 has been “flipped”, as some users have reported on social media that they got Nothing Phone 1 with bad dots near the front camera opening or a “gourd screen” problem. Some users even said that in low brightness, the lower half of their Nothing Phone 1 screen is directly green screen.
Many users hope that the official batch of machines can be recalled in large quantities, re-qualify inspection, elimination of substandard products, and comprehensive optimization of components.
