The company’s main business is the sale of Tesla vehicles. Some Tesla owners in the North American market have reportedly started to make money by selling their electric cars backwards.

Dennis Wang, a 33-year-old car enthusiast, said he lost money when he first tried to sell Tesla.

But the second time selling Tesla earned $4,000 (about RMB 26,987), and the third time selling earned $7,000 (about RMB 47,228).

He believes that selling a Tesla is no different than selling real estate or concert tickets. He still holds a Tesla Model S and plans to sell it in three months, and he also has a Tesla Model Y and a Model X on order and is ready to resell them at a later stage.

In fact, in addition to Tesla, other brands of electric cars have also been transferred for additional money. On Facebook, a user set the asking price of his 2022 GMC Hummer EV1 at $220,000 (about RMB 1.48 million), while the car dealership’s asking price was only $105,000 (about RMB 708,000).

There are even owners of the RivianR1T electric pickup priced at $123,000 (about RMB 829,000) and $220,000 (about RMB 1.48 million), which far exceeds the $67,500 (about RMB 455,000) price tag on the Rivian’s official website.

But even so, there will still be owners who choose to pay a high price for the car, because in front of the early delivery of the car, many owners put the first consideration, is no longer how much money.
