Japanese news, Nokia joins hands with German i.safe MOBILE GmbH introducing the Nokia HHRA501x and Nokia IS540.1, two ruggedized phones for industrial environments such as oil and gas, mining and chemicals that have passed stringent durability tests.

Nokia says users can safely use these phones in places where there is a risk of explosion (e.g. ATEX Zone 1 level) and in areas where there is less risk (e.g. ATEX Zone 2). Nokia also said that the phones support all the necessary frequency bands and have received all the necessary certificates to make them suitable for use by companies worldwide.

Any information on the HHRA501x when checking for related information?

The Nokia IS540.1 phone comes with a 6-inch screen, protected by a Corning Gorilla 3 screen, and a built-in Qualcomm octa-core QCM6490 (the original article shows dual-core, but checking Qualcomm’s website it’s octa-core) processor, which is close to the Snapdragon 778 in performance.

It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, a 48-megapixel camera with autofocus, a 5-megapixel front camera, and a 4,400mAh capacity battery.
