On October 31 that NIU recently launched a BQi-C3 Pro electric bicycle in overseas markets, positioning it as an urban commuter scooter.

The NIU BQi-C3 Pro has a 750-watt rear motor with two riding modes: electric power pedal and pure electric drive. The BQi-C3 Pro can reach a top speed of 28 miles (45 kilometers) per hour, and the car has two batteries with a total capacity of 920Wh, which can provide a comprehensive range of 62 miles (100 kilometers).

The BQi-C3 Pro replaces the chain with a carbon fiber-reinforced belt, which is claimed to be 33 times more durable than a metal chain, and transmits power from the pedals to the rear wheel. This helps reduce maintenance and provides a smoother ride.

The BQi-C3 Pro is equipped with NIU’s signature halo headlights, as well as a tail and brake light on the rear rack. The bike also uses puncture-resistant tires with a 1.5mm KEVLAR ARAMID fiber inner liner.

BQi-C3 Pro comes standard with fenders, which are IP45 waterproof, the motor has a higher waterproof rating of IP65, and the battery has an IP67 waterproof rating.

A TFT color display is mounted on the handlebars that show battery and ride stats, ride mode readouts, travel time, distance traveled, and more.

The BQi-C3 Pro weighs 32kg and has a maximum payload of 130kg, with the rear rack alone being rated at 30kg.

The BQi-C3 Pro is currently available for pre-order, priced at $1,999 (about 14,533 yuan), and available in three colors: white, gray and black. It is expected to be available to US customers in early November 2022. Ship.
