Nissan announced the latest production and sales data: global production in March 2024 was 283,343 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 20.2%; global sales were 365,845 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%.

In March 2024, Nissan’s global production fell by 20.2% year-on-year, with domestic production in Japan falling by 9.5% year-on-year, and production outside Japan falling by 22.6% year-on-year.

Global production between April 2023 and March 2024 increased by 3.9% compared with the same period last year, with production in Japan increasing by 21.5% compared with the same period last year, and production outside Japan falling by 0.03% compared with the same period last year.

In March 2024, Nissan’s global sales increased by 3.3% year-on-year. Small car sales in Japan decreased by 1.8% year-on-year. Japanese registered sales decreased by 1.1% year-on-year. Japanese mini car sales decreased by 2.9% year-on-year. Sales outside Japan increased by 4.4% year-on-year. %.

It is noted that Nissan China’s automobile production in March was only 57,522 units, a year-on-year decrease of 39.7%; China sales were 59,914 units, a year-on-year increase of 10.0%.

Between April 2023 and March 2024, Nissan’s global sales increased by 8.8% year-on-year. Including domestic mini car sales in Japan increased by 6.5% year-on-year, Japanese registered car sales increased by 10.4% year-on-year, and sales outside Japan increased by 9.2% year-on-year.
