NIO officially announced today that the new model will be released on NIO Day 2022.
NIO Day 2022 will be held on December 24 at the Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center. Judging from Nio’s official preview video, Nio’s new model will be equipped with an electric rear spoiler.
According to previous information, this NIO Day will release two new models, one of which is the ES8 remodeled model on the NT2.0 platform, and a brand new model will also be released. In contrast, at the NIO Day 2021 held in December last year, the Nio ET5 and the mass-produced version of the Nio ET7 were officially unveiled.
Judging from the road test spy photos of the suspected Nio EC7, the front of the new car is similar to the front face of the Nio EC6. It is still designed as a family “watchtower” and uses split headlights. In addition, the new car adopts a coupe-style slip-back shape, and the rear adopts a new through-type taillight design.
