At last month’s 2023 NIO Day event, NIO’s intelligent chassis system SkyRide was officially released, and NIO’s ET9 model was launched for the first time. The official also released a “mobile champagne tower” challenge.
Today, Nio officially released the ET9 chassis challenge content again, allowing the car to “shake its feet” in the water to conduct a high-frequency vibration test of Tianxing’s fully active suspension.
As can be seen from the video, Nio ET9 can maintain high-frequency vibrations in the wheel parts while the body part remains stable. The two glasses of water placed on the car only vibrate slightly.
Tianxing’s fully active suspension is claimed to be “the world’s first integrated hydraulic fully active suspension” and is equipped with an active suspension electric drive unit. The total suspension stroke reaches 220mm. Officially, it is “no bumps on undulating roads”.
NIO ET9 has a pre-sale price of 800,000 RMB and will be delivered in Q1 of 2025. During this year, our friends can look forward to whether other manufacturers will produce competing technologies.
