The new ES8 is priced at $528,000 for the 75 kWh version and RMB 586,000 for the 100 kWh version.
According to the official introduction, the new ES8 is a smart electric flagship SUV that meets the needs of work, family and social life in two six-seat layouts, combining a relaxed appearance, powerful performance, intelligent driving, premium space, comfortable seats and immersive experience.
The flagship design of the Azera SUV family is described as incorporating self-driving sensing hardware. With a length of 5,099mm and a wheelbase of 3,070mm, the new ES8 has a more relaxed stance; the front end features a line that connects to the extended window line, making the body more slender; the double shoulder line features fuller and more powerful, making the side and rear transition more natural.
Smart Multi-Beam Headlights + LIDAR, Smart Multi-Beam Headlights, integrate multiple micron-level high-brightness LEDs, each of which can be controlled individually; relies on LIDAR to actively transmit and receive detection signals to vehicle targets for more accurate beam distribution; is unaffected by external ambient light to ensure nighttime driving visibility and safety.
Officially, the new ES8 combines more than 60 aerodynamic optimizations throughout the vehicle, resulting in a wind resistance coefficient as low as 0.250.
The new ES8 has a panoramic sunroof with a lighting area of up to 1m2, 360-degree silent technology, and an intelligent five-zone independent air conditioning system. Two seating layouts to meet the needs of work, family and social all scenes. Under the administrative center island layout, the upper floor has multiple cell phones with wireless fast charging, while the lower floor is open for storage; an optional car refrigerator is also available for cooling in summer and keeping warm in winter. With the spacious center aisle layout, the space is more agile, with integrated armrests and full leather covering, making the ride more comfortable.
In terms of intelligence, the car is equipped with Azera’s intelligent system Banyan, which improves AI algorithms, graphics processing and multimedia processing. The car is equipped with a 12.8-inch AMOLED center display with a resolution of 1,728*1,888, an ultra-high contrast ratio of 100,000:1, a 100% NTSC full-color gamut, and a new 16.3-inch HUD.
In terms of performance, the car has a maximum 900km CLTC range, a 100km acceleration time of 4.1s and a minimum 100km braking time of 34.3m.
