Nintendo’s handheld game “Dragalia Lost” announces shutting down in November

Designed by Cygames and jointly developed and operated by Nintendo, the handheld game “Lost Dragon Covenant” announced that it will officially end operation on November 30, and expressed gratitude to players for their support.

The game’s Dragon Diamond will be taken off the shelves today, and the breeding props and packs purchased through the Dragon Diamond in the store will be taken off the shelves on October 31. Before the end of the operation, the Dragon Diamond can still be used for summoning, a sacred city, returning physical strength, returning the wings of the common fight and resurrection.

The official announcement was made back in March that the main storyline would be added to the final chapter and finished in July 2022, and would continue to operate for a period of time after the end, after which it would end its operation and close its servers.

The Lost Dragon Covenant is a Japanese-style fantasy-themed ARPG that debuted online on September 27, 2018 in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, China.

According to Sensor Tower, the first anniversary of the launch of “Lost Dragon Covenant” saw global revenue reach $106 million (about RMB 732 million). In addition, the game’s first month’s revenue reached $26.4 million (about RMB 182 million), ranking third among Nintendo’s handheld games. Total revenue through July of this year was $168 million (about RMB 1.161 billion), ranking fourth among Nintendo’s handheld games.
