CATL announced that its pioneering MTB technology will be the first to be used in the NDT Qiyuan Core Power Exchange project.

According to the official introduction, MTB (Module to Bracket) technology is 40% more efficient in volume and 10% lighter than the traditional battery pack + frame/chassis assembly method, thus increasing the vehicle cargo space and increasing cargo weight.

The battery system life has been increased by more than 2 times compared to similar products, achieving a system life of 10,000 cycles; the original patented U-shaped water cooling and water heating technology have solved the problem of heat dissipation; modular design, free combination, 140kWh~600kWh power configuration, covering a wide range of host products; low frame design, the whole vehicle center of gravity is reduced by 21%; module + system dual-level sealing, IP69K high-grade protection for harsh environments.

Finally, CATL said that the new generation MTB technology can also be applied to bottom-mounted rechargeable heavy trucks and construction machinery. At present, 9 out of every 10 heavy trucks or construction machinery are equipped with CATL power batteries.
