Nikon announced yesterday that the new Plena lens will be released on September 27. This lens has “Plena” inscription on the body, using the same font as the Nikon 58mm f/0.95 “Noct”, indicating that this is a highly positioned product.
According to nikonrumors, this lens may be 135mm f/1.8, support defocus control, and be very expensive.
Nikon plans to release two S-Line lenses this year, the 35mm f/1.2 and 135mm f/1.8, so don’t rule out the possibility that the 35mm f/1.2 could also be a Plena lens.
