This year in September, Nikon released the Nikkor Z 17-28mm f / 2.8 constant aperture wide-angle zoom lens, priced at CNY 8299, today officially launched.
The NIKKOR Z 17-28mm f/2.8 is a wide-angle zoom lens compatible with Nikon Z-mount system full-frame / FX-format micro-single digital cameras, with a total length of about 101mm and a weight of about 450g.
In terms of parameters, the Nikkor Z 17-28mm f/2.8 features two low dispersion (ED) lenses, one enhanced low dispersion (ED) lens and three aspherical lenses, high-speed autofocus control, stepper motor (STM) and control ring.
Nikon says the lens takes advantage of the unique angle of view offered by wide-angle lenses, along with a fast maximum aperture of f / 2.8 and the closest focusing distance of approximately 0.19m (at the 17mm zoom position), to respond well to a wide range of shooting scenes and subjects and achieve a wide range of dynamic expression.
Key functional features.
- Covers a wide-angle focal length range from 17mm to 28mm, making it suitable for a wide range of scenes and subjects including street photography, landscapes and portrait
- A fast, constant aperture of f / 2.8 throughout the zoom range enables natural bokeh expression and reduces the effects of camera shake when shooting in low-light conditions.
- The compact, lightweight design with an overall length of about 101mm and weight of about 450g provides excellent portability.
- Provides a closest focusing distance of only about 0.19m, allowing users to get close to their subjects for dynamic expression.
- Provides high-speed autofocus and supports smooth focus, even when shooting moving subjects and recording video.
- Equipped with a stepper motor (STM) for quiet operation and fast response.
- Equipped with a control ring to which settings such as aperture and exposure compensation can be assigned, quiet and smooth operation is also possible during video recording.
- Supports linear manual focus drive, enabling smooth focusing.
- A design that mitigates the effect of focus breathing reduces the change in viewing angle when adjusting focus.
- The length of the lens barrel stays the same when zooming, making it easier to maintain balance during shooting, and also making the lens safer to carry.
- The use of fluorine coating, easy to wipe oil.
