Motorola RAZR 2022 launch delayed until further notice

The past few months brought some hype to the coming Motorola RAZR 2022. Available leaks claim that this foldable device will launch this month. But new information claims that the launch of this tablet isn’t coming this month, as we previously thought.

There are no reasons why this product launch will delay. But we understand that the hold-up of this launch is some sort of marketing strategy from Motorola and its parent company Lenovo. Why can we make such a conclusion?

Digital Chat Station laid the claim as to the delay in the arrival of the Motorola RAZR 2022 hence giving this hint. In his Weibo post after stating that there will be a delay he said “in the same period, the vertical inward folding products are the new series of Samsung Flip4.” This statement gives life to the understanding that the Motorola flip device will launch within the same time frame as would Samsung’s Flip device.

We know that the Samsung Unpacked event will take place on August 10. So we can expect Motorola to launch its folding device within that month as well. This well-planned clash will help the company draw attention to its own foldable, hence possibly driving sales.

But, Samsung isn’t the only company that Motorola has to worry about. OPPO as well is working on a Flip foldable device, which Digital Chat Station also talked about in his Weibo post. We can not say when this OPPO foldable flip device will launch at this moment. But, if we are going by the launch date of the OPPO Find N we can expect this device to launch sometime in the month of December. This means that we might see up to three flip foldable devices from China before the end of this year.
