Motorola Moto X40 Pro renders revealed: a curved screen with narrow bezels

The Motorola Moto X40 Pro has been certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. OnLeaks disclosed the design of the phone in more detail, using a curved screen and equipped with three rear cameras.

Compared to the previous Moto X / Edge series, the Moto X40 Pro features a square camera module, but with a different arrangement of lenses and LED flash. At the bottom of the rear panel is the Motorola logo.

On the front, the Moto X40 Pro features a 6.67-inch curved perforated display with Full HD+ resolution, 165Hz refresh rate support, and possible HDR10+ certification. On the right side of the device are the power and volume buttons, a USB Type-C port between the main speaker grille and the microphone, and possibly a secondary speaker or microphone on the top edge.

The Motorola Moto X40 Pro body measures 161.3 x 73.9 x 8.6 mm and the camera module bump is 10.8 mm thick. the Moto X40 Pro 5G will likely come with a glass back and perhaps a metal center frame.

In terms of specifications, the Moto X40 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The rear camera module will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. A 60-megapixel front camera is also expected for selfies and video calls.

The Moto X40 Pro will also support IP68 water and dust resistance rating, a built-in 5000mAh battery and 68W fast charging. MyUI 5.0, based on Android 13, is pre-installed.
