Joining the midrange 5G Android smartphone market is the new Motorola Moto G53. This new device from the Lenovo-owned Motorola comes with a budget-level retail price tag and supports 5G connectivity. But, Motorola fails to make clear the exact processor this new budget device uses.

The new device joining the Motorola G-series comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen panel and supports 120Hz refresh rates. Under the hood is a 5G-enabled Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, whose exact detail is not specified. Supporting the 5G-enabled Snapdragon processor is up to 8GB worth of RAM capacity and an expandable 128GB worth of storage.

The new Motorola Moto G53 also comes with a centre screen cutout housing the selfie camera, as well as a dual rear camera setup. For its rear cameras, this device comes with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. On the front sits an 8MP selfie camera with a ton of shooting modes for taking clear pictures.

As for its software capabilities, this device runs Android 13 with customizations from the manufacturer’s MYUI 5.0 in-house software. This device comes with a 5000mAh battery capacity which supports 18W fast charging. The retail price of this new budget device from Motorola starts at $157.

There are six colour options with this device being, Qingfeng Blue, Sky mirror, Haoyuebai, Star Black, Basalt Black, and Sky Blue White. But the global market might only get two colours, Sky mirror and Sky Blue White, out of the six mentioned above. The Motorola Moto G53 is currently available for purchase in China and will make its way to the global market in the coming weeks.
