The Edge 40 is powered by a new 6nm MediaTek Skyguard 8020 chip and comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and 256GB of storage (UFS 3.1). In terms of screen, the Edge 40 has a 6.55-inch 2400×1080 pixel OLED screen that supports 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ with a maximum brightness of 1200 nits, and dual stereo speakers on both sides of the screen that support Dolby Atmos technology.

As for the camera, the Edge 40’s main camera has a 50-megapixel 1/1.5-inch sensor with an optical stabilization lens with an aperture of f / 1.4. This sensor allows for 4-in-1 pixel merging, giving 2 microns of effective pixels. There is also a 13-megapixel f / 2.2 ultra wide-angle lens with macro support. The camera also features a 32-megapixel f/2.4 selfie lens with autofocus support.

The Motorola Edge 40 has a built-in 4400mAh battery and supports 68W wired fast charging (the charger comes with it), as well as 15W wireless charging. The new phone is available in Europe today in three colors: Nebula Green, Eclipse Black (faux leather) and Moon Blue (acrylic), with only the 8GB+256GB version available for 550 euros (currently about RMB 4202)
