Mophie releases firmware to fix intermittent charging issues with 3-in-1 travel chargers

Accessory maker Mophie today released a statement that it will send a firmware update to all users who have purchased a 3-in-1 travel charger (which supports MagSafe) in the next 2 weeks to fix intermittent charging problems.

Mophie said in the statement that it will soon send out emails to affected users with a detailed firmware download address and installation guide.

Users will need to connect the bottom of the charger via the USB-C port, and the entire firmware update should take no more than 2 minutes.

Mophie’s 3-in-1 travel charger (with MagSafe support) is now back for purchase at Apple’s online store for $1,098.
