“Minecraft” will cooperate with Everbloom Games and Dungeons and Dragons publisher Wizards of the Coast to release “Dungeons and Dragons” themed DLC, which will be released on the Minecraft Marketplace on September 26. On sale.

It is learned from the official that the DLC will provide a new set of mechanisms, including a career system, statistics and dice-based combat, aiming to provide a true Dungeons and Dragons experience.

The DLC will not only offer new locations and monsters, but also introduce a more complex and refined soundtrack that will dynamically change as players explore different environments.

It’s important to note that this DLC isn’t intended to turn Minecraft into a Dungeons & Dragons simulator, but rather to provide players with key elements that will allow them to shape their own Dungeons & Dragons experience within the game.

“The highlights of Dungeons & Dragons are combat, exploration, and role-playing, so we’re trying to blend those elements in a satisfying way,” Mojang senior producer Riccardo Lenzi told Polygon.
