Game developer Mojang Studio today released Minecraft Java Edition version 1.19.4 update. The update fixes dozens of bugs, improves some of the game’s features, strengthens auxiliary features, and provides more freedom for Minecraft creators to create.

Minecraft : Java Edition version 1.19.4 update adds breeding properties for horses, donkeys, and llamas, allowing players to selectively breed to slowly acquire more friendly creatures (mobs). Horse breeding is now a viable way to get better and faster horses. The new version also adjusts the color of potions to improve visibility for the visually impaired.

The Java version of Minecraft was originally released in 2009 and renamed in September 2017. The game was developed in Java and is largely incompatible with the current version of My World Bedrock Edition.

The bedrock version uses the LevelDB format to store Minecraft, while the Java version uses the Anvil format. The Java version has flattened its block format to use a unique string for each individual block and store the state of that block separately.
