The Surface Laptop Studio, Microsoft’s most powerful computer, has received its latest October firmware update. Unlike previous versions, this one doesn’t bring any important features. Instead, the update improves system stability, addresses issues that caused blue screens of death and fixes a Japanese IME keyboard issue. The firmware supports Windows 10 20H2 or newer, and Windows 11 21H2 or newer system installations.
Important: You cannot roll back or uninstall Surface firmware updates after upgrading, so check the list of known issues before installing the latest version.
