Microsoft Xbox team visited Blizzard headquarters to celebrate the acquisition

Microsoft finally successfully acquired Activision Blizzard recently. After completing the transaction, Microsoft Xbox executives also began to visit Activision Blizzard’s major headquarters.

Microsoft’s Xbox leadership team, composed of Phil Spencer, Matt Booty, Sarah Bond and others, recently visited Blizzard’s headquarters in California and addressed employees for the first time.

Lulu Cheng Meservey, Activision’s executive president of corporate affairs, shared some photos from the visit, which according to Windows Central was a “relatively low-key event.”

Sources say Spencer emphasized at the event that he had no “answers,” and that Xbox would instead listen to the needs and desires of Blizzard employees. Spencer said that Microsoft is working hard to become a source of trust for Blizzard and hopes to enable Blizzard to realize its vision and dreams.

During the event, there was a clear disconnect between the Activision brand and the Blizzard brand. The only background shared by the Xbox team is the Xbox and Blizzard brands.

Microsoft’s Xbox leadership has previously visited mobile game manufacturer King’s offices in Stockholm and London. Due to the special status of Activision’s “Call of Duty” series, it is unclear whether Microsoft will go to Activision’s offices.
