Microsoft Windows Development Kit 2023 run scores announced with Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3

Microsoft recently released Windows Dev Kit 2023 (Windows Development Kit 2023, also known as Project Volterra), which enables developers to better develop native Arm applications based on hardware 4488 yuan.

The Windows Development Kit 2023 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 processor with 32 GB of LPDDR4x memory and 512 GB of NVMe storage, and Geekbench 5 scores 1105 single-core and 5675 multi-core.

This score is similar to, or even lower than, the previous Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 device. For comparison, the Apple M1 has a single-core score of 1750 and a multi-core score of 7750.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 was released at the end of last year, using a 5nm process and an 8-core main frequency of 3.0GHz. Qualcomm’s official website did not give its detailed specifications, but said that its CPU multitasking performance increased by up to 85%, and GPU performance increased by up to 60%.

Windows Development Kit 2023 has built-in Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, Ethernet interfaces, 3 USB-A and 2 USB-C, and a Mini-Display Port interface (supports HBR2), which can simultaneously Drive up to 3 external monitors, including 2 4K 60Hz monitors.
