Microsoft Windows 11 Build 25336 preview release: Snap window adds last 20 tabs option

Microsoft today launched the Win11 Build 25336 preview update for members of the Windows Insider program on the Canary Channel. It is worth noting that the preview update is also available for Arm64 devices.

The improvements as follows:

  • Improved search performance in the Settings app.
  • For users with 2 or more unique graphics, the option to specify which graphics card is “High Performance” is now available. Users can go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics > Default Graphics Settings and select the discrete graphics adapter to be specified as the default high-performance GPU.
  • Under Settings > Multitasking, the Snap Window recent tab has a maximum of 20 new options. Users can see these tabs using the ALT + TAB shortcut, or in the Snap Assist view, where the options previously included “No tabs”, “Last 3 tabs”, and “Last 5 Tabs”.

Developers can download the latest Windows Insider SDK at aka.ms/windowsinsidersdk.

  • The SDK NuGet is covered in the NuGet Gallery | WindowsSDK, which includes.
  • NET TFM package for .NET applications, as described in aka.ms/windowsinsidersdk
  • C++ packages for Win32 headers and libraries for each architecture
  • BuildTools package when you only need tools such as MakeAppx.exe, MakePri.exe and SignTool.exe
