Microsoft’s latest Release Preview channel for the release of Windows 11 Build 22000.1515 update. This is a new update released for Windows 11 (original version), patch number (KB5019274).

This update includes the following improvements.

New feature! Combines Windows Spotlight with themes on the Personalization page. This makes it easier for users to discover and open Windows Spotlight features.

New! Improved the Microsoft account experience in Settings. For example, users can manage OneDrive subscriptions and storage alerts.

New! Provides full storage capacity for all OneDrive subscriptions. Also shows the total storage space on the Accounts page in the Settings app.

New! Displays storage alerts for Microsoft OneDrive subscribers on the System page of the Settings app. Alerts appear when storage limits are approached. Users can also manage storage space and purchase additional storage if needed.

New feature! Xbox subscription details are displayed on the Accounts page of the Settings app, where Xbox subscribers can also manage their subscriptions. Non-subscribers can explore Xbox subscription options on the Account page.

Fixed an issue affecting searchindexer.exe. It would randomly prevent users from logging in or out.

Resolved an issue that prevented users from searching for files based on their content.

Fixes a resource conflict between two or more threads (called a deadlock, a deadlock is a blocking phenomenon caused by two or more processes competing for resources or communicating with each other during execution so that they will not be able to advance without external forces. (At this point, the system is said to be in a deadlock state or the system is deadlocked, and the processes that are always waiting for each other are called deadlocked processes.) This deadlock affects COM+ applications.

Fixed a problem affecting conhost.exe. It would stop responding.

Resolved an issue affecting some modern applications. The issue prevented opening.

Fixed an issue affecting Domain Name System (DNS) suffix search lists. When configured, the parent domain may have been missing.

Added support for long URLs of up to 8196 characters.

Fixed an issue that could occur when the Input Method Editor (IME) was active. The application may have stopped responding when using the mouse and keyboard at the same time.

Fixed an issue that could affect FindWindow () or FindWindowEx (). The wrong window handle may have been returned.

Fixed a corrupt memory issue. This issue could occur when using certain HD audio controller hardware.

Fixed an issue affecting some systems with firmware Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs). This issue prevented users from setting up these systems with AutoPilot.

Fixed an issue affecting Microsoft Edge landscape mode printing. The printouts were incorrect. This issue occurred when using Microsoft Defender Application Guard.

Resolved an issue that prevented the touch keyboard from opening.

Fixed an issue that prevented explorer.exe from responding. This issue occurs when using the play and pause buttons on the keyboard on some devices.

Fixed an issue affecting Windows Server 2022 domain controllers. Stopped responding when managing Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) requests.

Fixed an issue affecting Resilient File System (ReFS) MSba tags. The issue caused non-paging pool leaks.

Resolved an issue affecting ReFS. The issue caused high non-paging pool usage, which depleted system memory.
