Microsoft Windows 11/10 August Patch Causes Blue Screens on Some PCs

Microsoft recently for Windows 11 and Windows 10 users pushed the August 2023 Class C patches KB5029351 and KB5029331, after the update version number raised to 22621.2215 (22H2), 22000.2360 (21H2), 19045.3393 ( Win10).

After this update, some 13 generations of Core desktop processor computers will prompt “UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR” processor is not supported, resulting in the update reboot blue screen automatic rollback.

Microsoft has flagged the issue in the official Feedback Hub and expects to fix it later.

According to user feedback, the issue is mainly from users of 13th-generation Core processors and 600 series (Z690) and 700 series (Z790) motherboards.
