Microsoft Win11 22H2 has game drop, stuttering issues, suspending push to affected N-card users

After the release of the Windows 11 2022 update (22H2), some users have noticed that some gaming and other related performance issues may occur after this update, especially for users with Nvidia graphics cards.

However, NVIDIA blamed Microsoft for the problem, claiming that the new GPU debugging tool in Windows 11 22H2 had anomalies that would result in a significant drop in gaming performance. Although NVIDIA later released a driver update specifically to address the issue, the problem still persisted.

Nearly two months later, Microsoft finally acknowledged the issue and confirmed that NVIDIA was right. Microsoft posted details about the issue on its Windows Health Dashboard and said it would have prevented the affected devices from automatically updating to 22H2.

Microsoft also offers a temporary solution, advising users to update their games or related apps to the latest version. Finally, Microsoft also said they are fixing the issue and asked users to avoid manually updating the OS.

In fact, in addition to compatibility issues with Nvidia GPUs, many reviewers and gamers have been giving feedback on performance issues with AMD Ryzen processors, and while AMD claims that it has found no such issues, some testers insist that the problem does exist and cite numerous test results to prove that Win11 has compatibility issues. So far, it seems that only users of Intel platforms are not affected too much.
