Microsoft to push .NET updates with UUP: Reduce reboots, put users in control of optional updates

Microsoft announced its Unified Update Platform (UUP) for local deployment last October; a few days ago it announced that the first UUP local update will be released on March 28. Microsoft said that the UUP update method can reduce the download volume by 30% and further shorten the upgrade time.
