Microsoft today previewed the second-generation Surface Hub 2S interactive remote work whiteboard and said it will go on sale later this year with a new Windows version called “Teams Rooms on Windows”.
Microsoft did not officially announce detailed specifications for the second-generation Surface Hub 2S, but said it will be available in the same 50-inch and 85-inch versions as the current model.
Microsoft also said that the existing Surface Hub 2S will continue to be supported until October 14, 2025, the first generation Surface Hub 2S cannot be upgraded to the latest “Teams Rooms on Windows” system.
Microsoft said it will share more information about the new Surface Hub 2S later this year, including specific release dates, detailed specifications and more.
