When Microsoft first officially launched Windows 11 more than two years ago, it detailed a number of touch-focused improvements, mostly around its Surface Pro X device. Today, the company reiterates those improvements and goes into more detail about why Windows 11 and Surface are the best combination in a new blog post titled Microsoft Surface: Surface Built to Bring the Best of Windows 11 Built for the best features”.
According to Microsoft:

When the pen is pulled out, the pen menu opens immediately.Next, Microsoft introduced how Windows 11 can make Surface devices more energy efficient, up to 61%. For example, its dynamic refresh rate technology can switch between 60Hz and 120Hz according to the usage scenario. According to Microsoft:
Microsoft engineers wanted more processing power for the Surface, but also wanted improved battery life and performance. In addition, designers also want a thinner and lighter form factor. They do this with some subtle innovations, like when workers switch to writing mode, the display automatically boosts to 120Hz for the best stylus experience. Once the Surface switches to another mode, the display reverts to 60Hz to reduce the load on the battery. For all of these challenges, Surface average battery life increased by 61%, allowing employees to work longer between charges.Of course, Microsoft also talked about improved security, which is one of the main advantages of Windows 11 that the company has been emphasizing. Microsoft claims that businesses and organizations report a 58% reduction in cybersecurity concerns after using Windows 11 Pro devices.
This is thanks to Microsoft maintaining all the code in the Surface security stack, from the firmware to the operating system to the cloud. Surface devices run the most secure Windows operating system ever, with cryptographic processor security built into the CPU.Finally, Microsoft talked about the ease of deploying and managing Surface devices with Windows Autopatch. Deployment speed has increased by 25 percent, while help calls have been reduced by 80 percent, resulting in savings of more than $1 million, the company claims.
