Microsoft Surface app 61.23020.81.0 update released with improved charging experience

Microsoft has updated the Surface app for Windows 11 and Windows 10 platforms to version 61.23020.81.0, adding a number of noteworthy features.

The Surface app is a companion app for Microsoft Surface devices that allows users to view device information and manage a range of settings.

In the latest version 61.23020.81.0, the Surface app optimizes the smart charging experience (only available for products released in 2021 or later) and makes a number of improvements.

  • Improved the Smart Charging experience for products released in 2021 or later.
  • Added the option to hide product recommendations under Profile-> App Settings-> General-> Recommendations.
  • Enhanced the “Provide Feedback” experience.
  • Integration with Surface Management Extension app.
  • Bug fixes and stability improvements.
