According to the Microsoft 365 roadmap page, Microsoft plans to introduce a new feature called Message Reminders to Outlook starting in January next year to further enrich the user experience.
The official description of Message Reminders is as follows: “After Outlook detects that the user has forgotten to reply or follow up on an email, it will pin the email to the top and mark it as requiring user action. It is worth noting Yes, only one email can be placed at the top of a user’s inbox at a time.”
This feature of Outlook focuses on improving users’ email management experience, ensuring that users can perform relevant operations on emails and prevent them from accidentally forgetting or ignoring important emails.
Microsoft said it will begin testing in January 2024, and if testing goes well, deployment will begin the same month.
