Microsoft launches a high-end version of Teams based on ChatGPT for $6 a month

Microsoft today launched a premium Teams messaging service powered by ChatGPT as a way to simplify enterprise meetings. Before that, ChatGPT had already taken Silicon Valley by storm.

Microsoft said the premium service will cost $7 a month in June and will increase to $10 in July. ChatGPT will automatically generate meeting notes, recommend tasks and help team users create meeting templates.

Earlier this month, Microsoft announced a multibillion-dollar investment in OpenAI and said it aims to add ChatGPT’s technology to all of its products to set the stage for more competition with rival Google.

ChatGPT chatbots can generate prose or poetry on command, and the technology they use is currently at the forefront of generative AI, an area into which more and more large tech companies are pouring resources.

ChatGPT released a $20-a-month subscription plan on Wednesday that will give users faster response times and priority access to new features and updates.
