So far, Microsoft’s September 20 date for the release of Windows 11 remains speculation. But it does look like the release will fall on that date, as Microsoft has already pushed Windows 11 22H2 to servers as an ISO. For all previous versions, Microsoft has added the word “Insider” to their names.
But it does not matter. Because this addition could be ignored, until now. Even hardware manufacturers have delivered devices with Windows 11 22H2, where 22621.382 is installed, and with the security update in September we have reached 22621.521.
As you can see in the picture, the ISOs for upgrades (21H2 to 22H2) or new installations are already available on Microsoft’s servers.
The Windows 11 22H2 beta is also about to change. 22622 is currently being tested there and this is said to be nearing completion of development. It will be distributed before the end of this year.
