PowerShell cmdlets are an important tool for Exchange Online administrators, but the cmdlets are based on the currently insecure Remote PowerShell (RPS), so Microsoft is pushing enterprises to abandon support for RPS.
Microsoft originally planned to prohibit new Exchange Online users who registered on April 1, 2023 from accessing Remote PowerShell, and extend it to all users in June 2023.
Now that Microsoft has decided to delay that, new Exchange Online users who signed up before July 1st will be able to access RPS, dropping support entirely in October of this year.
